Taz's Taxi

Gee wasn't it quite in Margaret River on the weekend oh well i supose we get that every now and then.
i can not say much about the weekend apart from borrrriiinnnnggg.
First one in 3 months not bad i can handle that, maybe if we had a bloody maxi van we could have been busier but guess what WE DON'T HAVE ONE.

Two weekends ago we worked out we missed around $9000 over the Friday Saturday and Sunday night, so how much better would we be doing if we had the van running for the rest of the week.

Go around to some business around the town and see if they would like to sponsor there business cheaply on the van or even now on our wagon.

Well our office is getting a make over shortly, still hoping for more plates at the end of the year, and if we do our office moves into town.

That will be cool working from town twoway radio's as well oh well till next time all well next weekend.
Oh before i go we are having problems trying to get our 24/7 licience for the spring school holidays, but what's new for us.

1.for those who don't know we are only a friday and saturday night taxi, i wish we were a 24/7 taxi too, but we can not be and we have to just wait until the end of the year, and still pray or what ever we need to do to get these plates at the end of the year.

Sometime early last week i was told by the person i am leaseing the plate from it is up for sale i was told how much it is and thought Na to much for us, so i let the person know that we wont be buying it.
So we have this plate until 31st of may next year and then we will see what happens if it get's sold to someone i may not get the lease back, to keep running Taz's Taxi, so our only hope is that we get a hold of the plates that come in, at the end of the year, at least one of them.

Well what a weekend it was busy, people were still spending and spending lots not with just me, but at the bars around the town it is good so this is our recession huh, na were we really in one, maybe if so it did not hit down this way,and if we were in one well it did not seem like it. Well dam it am i the only Holden taxi in Margaret River well for the moment Marg taxi's have now decided to get them selves a holden taxi too. What's up you lot cos i have one you do to yeah yeah i know holden taxi's do look better don't they, they look good on the road they don't look old well anything from 2003 on wards and they are comfortable to drive.

The question is since the rain and cold has set in has Margaret River come out to play again for the winter or is it mainly the tourists out and about well, after the last 2 weekends it's both but i must admit that a lot more locals are out there spending there money at pub's and cab's. you would of thought that they were hybernating 3 weeks ago no one around just few people roaming the streets.

Well that's another weekend of work that's the type of weekend that makes you say damm there are people still living in margaret river and don't move out at night and go else where.

Well Friday picked up and was a good night for a winters night ran smoothly all good people out people understanding that we only have one cab and can't do much about having to wait if they want to use us. not like normal it was busy at the start of the night and by 12 midnight there was no one around no one at all...
